the one most important thing i had to learn early on as a creative is not to be shy when it came to talking about money with my clients ... take the brief down, then get straight to the budget implications of things. this is a good thing for you as a creative,being able to run your professional affairs in a financial stable and prudent way.

however, i have also met some creatives who will promise that clients anything and everything under the moon to get that cheque. we all know how that story often ends.
